Surprising fact #1 about the pro-life movement: You make friends for life

Updated: Sep 6, 2019

The pro-life movement is made up of people who feel strongly that abortion, euthanasia, and reproductive technologies are not the solution, and who try to offer positive alternatives instead. At Connect 2019, we'll take you step-by-step through the pro-life position, but our Programme is also about having a good time and introducing you to the big friendship circle that is the pro-life movement.

Check out what Madeline Page, from the Alliance of Pro-Life Students, and on the Connect team, has to say about this incredible side to the pro-life movement:

“I have met so many amazing people through the pro-life movement! By being on committee for my university's pro-life society, I got to know my now best friend and housemate of 3 years! I’ve also met so many fantastic people at different pro-life events and it is so wonderful to fight the good fight with your close friends beside you.”

The pro-life movement is a movement with a purpose. But it’s also incredible to participate in events with other people about such essential issues, and to have fun doing so.

APS is run by students and recent graduates for students. Our unique mission is to build university pro-life communities in England, Scotland and Wales that have a lasting and profound respect for human life from fertilisation to natural death. We do this by building, supporting and connecting student pro-life societies.

Life's mission is to create a just society which has the utmost respect for all human life from fertilisation. Life believes that opposition to abortion has to go hand-in-hand with the provision of alternatives.
